On February 15th and 16th, Alpha Bioresearch attended the most important clinical research congress in the world, Outsorcing in Clinical Trials (OCT) West Coast, held in San Francisco (USA), which was attended by CROs, pharmaceutical and biotech companies from around the world. In this event we have had the opportunity to introduce the benefits of conducting clinical research in Spain and Portugal as well as learn first-hand about the latest advances in the clinical research market in the United States.
After the last online call in 2021, the 14th edition of the most prestigious clinical trials congress in the world, the OCT West Coast, has once again been held in person on February 15 and 16, 2022 in San Francisco. Alpha Bioresearch has been the only Spanish company present at this congress and on this occasion, Samir Barral and Alberto Corral, members of the Business Development team, have attended on behalf of the CRO.
During the celebration of the event, we had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with more than 500 attendees from different pharmaceutical companies, biotech and CROs. In addition to catching up on the latest developments in the sector, we had the opportunity to explain the position of Spain and Portugal as leading countries in clinical research in Europe.
In our different interactions with the stakeholders present there, we were able to verify the great interest that our country and neighbour country arouses interest as possible destination to carry out clinical research projects.
At Alpha Bioresearch we value positively the opportunity to attend a world-renowned congress and expand our network of influence in the country that is the leading country in our sector.
In addition, we have been able to incorporate new tools that will allow us to make significant improvements in our projects in term of speed and cost control. With this we intend to substantially improve the satisfactions of our customers, both present and future.
Next year we hope that the circumstances will allow us to continue attending such relevant face-to-face events, to continue positioning Spain and Portugal as benchmarks in the clinical research sector and thus be able to help ensure that the best treatments continue to reach patients.
