From June 13 to 16, Alpha Bioresearch attended one of the most important biotech company conventions worldwide, BIO International Convention. During these days, different companies from the sector met in San Diego where Alpha had the opportunity to highlight the benefits and profitability of carrying out clinical research projects in Spain and Portugal. In addition, the assistance has allowed Alpha to learn first-hand about the latest projects that are being carried out by biotech companies in the different therapeutic areas.

After an online call in 2021, this year BIO International Convention was held in San Diego (USA) in person on June 13, 14, 15 and 16. Alpha Bioresearch has been the only Spanish CRO with a presence at the convention, represented by Samir Barral and Paula Ricoy, both members of the Business Development team.
The Alpha team had the opportunity to exchange data and experiences with the almost 3,000 attendees from different biotech, pharmaceutical and CRO companies, positioning Spain and Portugal as leading countries in clinical research in Europe and, in turn, updating themselves on the latest developments in the sector.
At Alpha Bioresearch we value positively the opportunity to attend a globally relevant convention and expand our network of influence in the leading country in our sector. In addition, we have been able to incorporate new tools that will allow us to obtain significant improvements in our projects in terms of speed and cost control. With this we intend to substantially improve the satisfaction of our customers, both present and future.
At Alpha we hope that the circumstances will allow us to continue attending events of this nature, with the aim of continuing to position Spain and Portugal as leading countries in the clinical research sector and contribute to ensuring that the best treatments continue to reach patients.
